People In Particular is an independent interview publication. Here is what happens to the information you share.
Recordings and publication
The recording device keeps local copies while answers upload to private cloud storage. The editor can access uploaded recordings to prepare the interview. Sending selected answers gives the publication permission to edit and publish those answers and recommendations; it does not make every unused recording public.
Information and services
We store interview details, recordings, recommendations and permission records. Cloudflare provides hosting, private storage and automated transcription. The editor reviews the finished interview before publication.
Retention and requests
Submitted recordings and permission records are retained to produce and maintain the published edition and its recovery backup. Unfinished drafts are not automatically deleted during this pilot. For help, corrections or a removal request, reply to the person who sent your invitation. Removing a public page cannot recall copies that readers have already saved.
Reader access
Archive verification and newsletter consent are stored separately. Unsubscribing does not remove verified archive access.
